Our Standards
Ora reviews Korean doctors and clinics for clinical quality — independently of any commercial relationship. Here's exactly how that works.
A doctor's clinical standing — our assessment of their qualifications, reputation, and work quality — is determined by our medical review process, not by whether they are a paying partner.
We track whether a clinic or doctor has a commercial relationship with Ora for internal purposes. This information is never displayed on public profiles.
Clinics that have entered a commercial agreement with Ora are not automatically listed as verified or expert-reviewed. Verification requires independent clinical review.
When you see 'Expert Reviewed' or 'Verified' on a doctor or clinic profile, it reflects a completed clinical review — not a subscription or payment.
Each doctor and clinic profile shows one of the following statuses, based solely on clinical review.
Completed full clinical review including peer references, outcome evaluation, and license confirmation.
Reviewed by a qualified clinician on our advisory team. Credentials and clinical reputation assessed.
Currently undergoing our review process. Not yet cleared for patient introductions.
Listed in our database but not yet reviewed. We do not make introductions to unreviewed providers.
Ora is a for-profit company. Some doctors and clinics in our network have entered commercial agreements with us. These relationships help fund our operations.
We believe patients deserve to understand this. A commercial relationship with Ora does not influence a provider's clinical verification status — these are tracked as separate, independent data points, and commercial status is never shown on public profiles.
Ora is not a medical provider and does not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment recommendations. All clinical decisions are made by licensed physicians.
Every doctor shown with a verification badge has completed our independent clinical review.
